Hanson's Happenings!: Spain trip (First 5 days)
http://gunnarandanna.blogspot.com/2011/10/spain-trip-first-5-days.html
Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Spain trip (First 5 days). September 5: We're off! Grace was so excited to get on her first airplane ride since she was 9 months. Her bag was packed and she waited with excitement. The plane ride did not disappoint. She loved the excitement, her new airplane treats and did AWESOME! Both her and Ellie slept on the plane which made the 11 hours pass uneventfully. September 6: Spain at last! September 7: What we have been waiting for. September 8: Elizabeth's new best friend.

Hanson's Happenings!: January 2011
http://gunnarandanna.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 20, 2011. Can I just say, before I start with how cute my children are, that I really hate it when places change names. Like Christmas on the Prado, when they started calling December Nights? The newest victim has been the Wild Animal Park, which is now something involving the word Safari. Super lame. So let the record show, that I will be sticking with calling it the Wild Animal Park. We spent the day walking around, playing at the play ground, and having a fun time together. Grace has...

Hanson's Happenings!: October 2010
http://gunnarandanna.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 29, 2010. I have been preparing this blog post since April of this year. Impressive I know. I just want to take this moment to say Happy Birthday to a special member of our family. On this, his 76th birthday, I would like to take a moment and reflect on some things that I appreciate about him. His hard work and always providing for his family. His devotion to our country. His love of flying and the happy memories his kids have of time with Elvira. Happy Birthday, you old devil! The other ...

Hanson's Happenings!: June 2011
http://gunnarandanna.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 30, 2011. A group picture. She is 5th from the right with her hands over her head. She LOVED watching the other groups dance. Afterwards she kept saying "That was a really good recital." Of course, it is the only recital she has ever been too, but she was impressed! Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Why is your arm so short? One of the things I find fascinating about babies is how short their little arms are relative to their heads. Thank goodness it doesn't stay that way! Monday, June 27, 2011.

Hanson's Happenings!: October 2011
http://gunnarandanna.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 7, 2011. September 16: My favorite place with my favorite people. September 17: Baila, Baila, Baila. After the Flamenco show the night before in Sevilla, Grace was beyond excited when we showed up for breakfast at our daily coffee bar to find that the waitress had bought her flamenco dancing shoes. Grace was so excited! We were so touched by Macarena's generosity! Part of the fun of of traveling in Spain with kids was seeing the difference in attitude towards children! 2)We were on the sa...

Hanson's Happenings!: July week 4
http://gunnarandanna.blogspot.com/2011/08/july-week-4.html
Saturday, August 20, 2011. July 18: Coloring buddies. I love that Elizabeth is getting old enough that the girls can hang out and do stuff together. Although it may mean that wiping marker off the floor (and table and their legs and arms and anything else that gets too close) is a daily occurrence, it never fails to bless my heart to see them both diligently bowed over their artwork! July 19: Orange Castle. July 20: Best errand ever! July 21: Grandma's jewelry box. We read "Green eggs and Ham" before our...

Hanson's Happenings!: July week 5
http://gunnarandanna.blogspot.com/2011/08/july-week-5.html
Monday, August 22, 2011. July 25: VBS is off to a hopping good start! Aside from a small learning curve, the first day of VBS went off well. Grace and her friend Lilah enjoyed racing around the track on the bouncy balls. I think a good time was had by all! July 26: The many looks of VBS. July 27: Good friends and good attendance. This was my favorite picture from VBS that day. Not only do I love that our good friends from Mongolia were in town. But look at all those kids! July 28: VBS day 4. I am not a c...

The Way I see It: Forgiveness, Reconciliation and Consequence Clarified
http://sealpastor.blogspot.com/2012/08/forgiveness-reconciliation-and.html
Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Forgiveness, Reconciliation and Consequence Clarified. Have you wrestled through the whole issue of forgiveness? Clearly the Christian has been forgiven much and should forgive as they have been forgiven by Christ (Ephesians 4:32). This point is clear. But what exactly is forgiveness? I think it is at this point where we often miss the mark because we think one-sided forgiveness should result in reconciliation, but most times it does not. Posted by Gunnar Hanson. Ten years ago...

The Way I see It: May 2015
http://sealpastor.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Recently I attended a pastor’s conference hosted by Alistair Begg. During one of the sessions he quoted from The Directory for the Publick Worship of God by the Westminster Assembly which met from 1643-48. It was approved by the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 1645 to regulate the worship of the church. I’m not thinking we could ever enforce this in the American Church, but I think it’s pretty cool and convicting. Posted by Gunnar Hanson. Links to this post. Gunnar Ha...
