Morgan is Four and a Half - Tiger Spot
http://tiger-spot.livejournal.com/193052.html
Morgan is Four and a Half. February 6th, 22:56. Four and a half! It is a different age than four, and a very different age than three and a half. She's having a hard time dealing with Tori getting more attention, and spends a lot of time pretending to be a baby too, or wishing they were twins. She's quite good at simple addition, and subtraction as well if she's got paper to jot hashmarks on for counting. She can write all the digits from 0-9. She still tends to skip 15 when she's counting. She has a rea...

Lonely. - Just Another Gnome
http://brewergnome.livejournal.com/549937.html
The rantings of the man who fits no boxes. me! Lonely is something that is always threatening in my currently situation. Driving back from the Maine Fiber Frolic (where I was vending for the first time alone) Dori (my CRV) lost compression in one of the pistons. Crap. It's going to cost 2-4k to fix. Or I get a used replacement car. This is posing a difficulty. I'm going stir crazy and feeling incredibly lonely and trying not to feel depressed. So, life is a little rough now. Hey bro, i am really sorry to...

How to food - entering the whirlpool
http://thanate.livejournal.com/446707.html
What I do when Im not with you. The Electronic Age of Thanate. One of my Adult Competency Failure Modes is food. (On the one hand, I'm cross that a species with climate control and solar panels and ridiculous conspicuous consumption items like light-up toddler shoes hasn't sorted out a workaround for having to eat yet. On the other, biology: all the so far proposed workarounds for food work far less well than the real thing. So, whatever.). Or spins you'd put on these that maybe I haven't thought of!

Adults in kid books - entering the whirlpool
http://thanate.livejournal.com/447031.html
What I do when Im not with you. The Electronic Age of Thanate. Adults in kid books. Adults in kid books. I just finished rereading Diana Wynne Jones's Enchanted Glass. And continue to be a little bit "Wow, how did she get away with that? About a couple things. It's a kid's book, with two POV protagonists, and the first one we meet is 30. The 12-year-old doesn't even get introduced for a few chapters. Is this a marketing category thing, or assumed kid disinterest thing, or what? 9th-Jan-2016 01:59 am (UTC).
