The prime aim of the VDC is to help the rural people of India by financing village based schemes relating to healthcare, education, water resource development and help with disaster relief. No project is too small provided it goes some way to better lot of the villager. The Village Development Council London (VDC) was formed in 1979 under the patronage of the High Commissioner for India Mr. Nanasaheb Gore. The driving spirit behind the organisation was Late Mr. Y. M. Bijwe, left us to lead the path he created.
