Keeping track of progress on Vedanta University (proposed near Puri, Orissa, India). London based NRI industrialist Anil Agarwal has created a Vedanta Foundation of $1 billion for setting up of an international university in India. Recently he signed an MOU with the Government of Orissa for setting up of this university about 6 kms from Puri on the Puri-Konark highway.
