Archive for May 2009. The Labour Story… Like finally…. On: May 14, 2009. 850am Reached KKH Delivery Suite. The nurse asked me whether I had taken breakfast. I answered, no and was asked to go for breakfast first. So the three of us, hubby, my mom and myself went MacD to have a quick breakfast. Approx 9.40am Reached Delivery Suite and was taken to Room 4. Mummy went home. 950am Baby’s heartbeat and contraction were monitored. 1250pm Transferred to ward 72, bed 10. The room is nice! 252pm CTG scan again.

On: February 23, 2009. Today marks my 37th week of pregnancy. I have yet to experience any of the labour signs. So it seems like baby will not be coming out anytime within my MC. =(. Baby, listen to mummy and daddy, ok? Pop out before March and within my MC days. The end of mummy’s MC is on 3 March. So you better come out by 3 March. If not mummy will have to go back to work. The Labour Story… Like finally…. On: February 25, 2009. Looks like baby is not ready to see the world. During the ultrasound scan, we found that baby’s head is already in the head down position and the face is facing my back. A good position called cephalic presentation (See A. Alhamdulillah. And baby weighs approximately 2.698kg. As for me, I weigh 52.1kg. :-O. Looks like I’ll have to be back to work next Wednesday. =( But hubby told me to extend my MC. Of baby’s arrival, we did a lot of shopping today. 4 for $10 tops. 4 for $10 tops. 3 for $10 pants. 3 for $10 pants. 3 for $10 pants. 4 for $10 mittens and booties. 2 snow caps @ $3.90 each. I was reading a forum and one of the posters asked the forum readers to watch a labour video. And so I did. This video is not for those under the age of 18. On: February 3, 2009. Last night after doing my nightly routine of brushing my teeth and washing my face, I went to bed. But before getting myself into slumberland, I decided to clip my finger and toenails. And so I clipped my fingernails and hubby helped to clip my toenails (I couldn’t bend over like I used to now that the tummy is growing bigger. So sweet of him to do so).
