Enge Brahmanan - A different genre. Not long ago did i start to watch a few episodes of Enge Brahmanan ( where is the Brahmin? I searched the internet and watched all the past episodes of this serial which is telecast everyday on Jaya TV, evening 8 pm. Its season 2 now. The story is very realistic. It has been adapted from a book ofcourse written by "Cho" himself. It shows how difficult it is to lead the life of a Brahmin as described in the Sastras. Kudos to the great team! Where is the Brahmin.

Kannu podi comes just the next day after the pongal and is celebrated by some sects of the tamil community. The girls pray for their brothers during this festive. It generally happens at the girls mothers place. The elderly women in the house applies the fresh turmeric (pasum manjal) as nelangu to all the girls in the house before the bath. Hope i tried to explain to the best! 169; Random Scribbling. Just Bliss @ Art of Living. I was not a penchant follower of Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankar when i wanted to take up the Art of Living - First Course. It was way back in 2007 when i enrolled for the course. I had no expectations but just the curiosity to learn more on meditation. But those three days really made a big difference to me. Figure 1 : Art of Living , Bangalore. The three day routine followed with some basic yoga, Sudarshan kriya, lectures - more on oneness and the musical satsang every night.

destination unexplored: The Soulful Rishikesh
http://destinationunexplored.blogspot.com/2009/12/soulful-rishikesh.html
Figure 1 : Sunrise at Rishikesh. Rishikesh is about 25 kilometers from the other sacred City of Haridwar. Rishikesh houses if iam not to go wrong the maximum number of Meditation and Yogic retreats. We were gifted to stay very closeby to the place where the Aarthi is performed in the evening. Rishikesh was the third stop at our journey towards Badrinath, the earlier ones being Delhi and Haridwar. A few hours from Delhi, what a complete diversity from the khadi to the saffron.
