We are equipped to build VW engines to your specific requirements or can supply standard "off the shelf" engines. Most rebuilds are fitted with new barrels, pistons and cylinder heads. We can use your existing engine case or if you prefer, a full exchange engine. A 1600 cc twin port engine consists of:. Having your case line bored (on the premises). Fitting new or reground crank and cam shafts. New oil pumps (standard or high volume). Closed/honed and rebushed conrods. New or reconditioned cylinder heads.

Hello, my name is Gary Williams and I'm the proprietor of veedub classic (also known as vw classic), which I started in 2004. Not everything is black and white when it comes to Volkswagens, but you can be sure that a lifetimes experience in the VW industry has taught me all the tricks. I served my apprenticeship on Volkswagens (back in the 1970's) with Lannock Motors, the retail arm of the importers - LNC Industries - and I've been in the business ever since. Started the body repair course this week, first job that I've started is to cut out a bit of rust in the Beetle's A pillar. This is the driver's side, the passenger's side was the worse of the 2. The Adventures of Neville the Notch. Saturday, 31 May 2008. Neville finds a new home. Neville arrived home today, delivered by tilt tray. For the record Neville is a 1972 Type 3 'Notchback'. He hasn't really been going for the past couple of years and needs some TLC to get back on the road. He's been lowered and has 14" 'jellybean' mag wheels. The poor bugger is parked on the street outside at the moment but he'll have a nice dry garage when we move house next month. Saturday, May 31, 2008.

The other day I was having a bit of a play replacing some ignition leads and I've fired him up and he sounded better but didn't really idle too well, then I noticed the fuel coming out he's split a fuel line, I'll get that fixed early next week.

VeeDub Clinic is at the moment a small local club with 12 members. However there are a lot more VW owners who we are looking to recruit. This site aims to show the life of a VeeDub owner from the perspective of our club members, we hope to bring you member profiles, event reports, current projects, cars we have owned and lots more. 7 VW Classic Frauenfeld. So komisch wie es sich anhören mag. Aber die beiden könnten tatsächlich Zwillinge sein. Beide Autos haben Jahrgang '69 und beide wurden bei Karmann in Osnabrück gebaut. (Beim 911 zwar nur die Rohkarosse die dann nach Stuttgart geliefert wurde). Und ganz nebenbei haben beide italienische Weber Vergaser verbaut ;-). VW Bus Treffen Güttingen. Sehr schöne Location, und das Wetter war perfekt. . Hier mal ein kleiner Vorgeschmack vom Treffen in Bad Camberg. Autos anwesend, Coool.
