The first night on our holiday in Mussoorie, up in the Himalayas. It was raining on the evening we landed so we went to bed early. I woke up early to look at the fabulous view from the verandah which looks south, down at the sparkle of Dehradun, down in the plains. Summer is a bit hotter, winter a bit cooler but only by a few degrees.
