Were a cross between a brownie and a cookie, but in the way that they’re brownies, stuffed full of biscuits! This recipe fits right in with March’s MiniMoFo challenge. Of “ stuffed and filled foods. 8221; (indeed, bourbons are a filled biscuit, which in this case are then stuffed inside brownies! And also has some cool alliteration in the recipe title. For today’s VeganMoFo challenge, we are to do a “Holiday Test Run” and this year we have decided to make a Wellington. Not a pair of waterproof boots, but a roast wrapped in duxelles and puff pastry. 225g vital wheat gluten. 1 tsp dried rosemary. 1 tsp dried oregano. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp onion powder. Few grinds black pepper.

Naturally sweet, caffeine-free, and very rich in calcium, carob is a great addition to your snacks! These cookies, soft and almost gooey in the middle, with chunks of carob running through, are an ideal introduction to the flavour. You can buy carob easily in health food shops – Holland and Barrett stock it, or anywhere local to you should! You can also buy it online.
