I Write About Vegan Parenting and Stuff. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Charlotte loves books, She has her favourites that you have to read over and over again. The first book she got really attached to was a book called Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas by Jane O'Connor she got for a christmas present, This started her new found love for Fancy Nancy books. I must admit they are fun to read and a great way to learn new words and a little french. But it was a pleasant surprise! Labels: animal shelter dogs.

Monday, March 28, 2011. 1 T finely diced tomato. 1 T finely shaved cucumber. 1 tsp finely chopped red cabbage. 1 heaped tsp grated beetroot. 2 T cooked green lentils. Steam beetroot after grating for a few minutes to soften it. you could also use a spoonful of a good quality beetroot dip if you wanted to cheat as i sometimes have! Links to this post. Lettuce, green algae powder (chlorella), soaked almonds, raw brown rice protein powder, chia seeds. Then with some other blends based on what we had in the house and what i was cooking for myself and Zac that day. Young coconut flesh, banana, raw cashew. Bok choy, quinoa, beluga lentils, pumpkin, green capsicum. Bok choy, quinoa, red lentils, sweet potato, broccoli. Red lentil, sweet potato, avocado.

It's been quite busy round here so i haven't been posting as often. we had the kitchen renovated, we did a few trips to sydney, i started work again (just 2 days a week) and Zac started childcare on those days. so we've gotten out of our homely routine! Pregnancy and parenting, vegan style. Thursday, July 19, 2012. In my experience no one really tells you about the recovery part of having a baby. Everyone loves to share a birth story, coo over baby, give unsolicited advice, but no one ever tells you what your body goes through after giving birth. My c-section decided not to heal properly and I've been on antibiotics to clear up an infection, lochia seems never ending, boobs are exploding, and as for poop - let's not even go there! No Meat and Three Veg.
