It's just the way I am. Monday, January 27, 2014. It was BIG wave Wednesday. The waves on the north shore reached 50 feet. We drove up and watched it all day. We took a hike to Kahuku point to see a baby pup monk seal. Monk seals are just like human babies. They nurse every 2-3 hours. But at 5-7 weeks they throw their pups into the ocean to practice swimming. Maddy trying to roll over. Maddy stuck her feet in the ocean for the first time at Turtle Bay.
