Baby Boomer Vegan: Do you have vegan friends?
http://babyboomervegan.blogspot.com/2010/03/do-you-have-vegan-friends.html
Saturday, March 6, 2010. Do you have vegan friends? If you are a baby boomer vegan, like I am, do you have any vegan friends? Although I am finding other vegans about my age in other states or areas (that I am interviewing for my book), I am finding it difficult to find even one locally. How I wish for friends with similar interests! This is getting to be very frustrating - and lonely at times, I must admit! Being vegan has changed my life and now yoga is transforming me as well, from the inside out.

Sunday, July 19, 2009. I recently attended Vegetarian Summerfest in Johnstown, PA. I learned so much and enjoyed the company of over 600 vegetarians during this five day event. People stayed overnight, ate together and attended a great selection of classes on the various aspects of being a vegetarian. Here is the video:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This blog is for older adults who are vegans or want to become one. There is so much to enjoy - such as living a life of creativity! It is pure joy!

Baby Boomer Vegan: Response to Sarah Martin with Suggestions for Cooking for a Meat Eating Husband
http://babyboomervegan.blogspot.com/2010/06/response-to-sarah-martin-with.html
Monday, June 14, 2010. Response to Sarah Martin with Suggestions for Cooking for a Meat Eating Husband. I have been slowly eliminating meat from my diet, but it's been difficult because my husband loves the stuff and I'm still researching the importance of meat relating to children's diet. I saw on your blog that your children were vegan but went back to meat. How about your husband, is he on the vegan bandwagon? I'd appreciate your suggestions on both the husband and the cookbooks. As for cookbooks, why...

VEGAN COHABITAT: May 2010
http://vegancohabitat.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
May 28, 2010. Fried Tofu and Coconut Rum Ice Cream. The other night, I made some okay fried tofu strips to put in some soba (more on that later). As you can see, the breading wasn't very thick. I'm hoping to improve this with some panko and a different breading technique (this time I just dreded the unpressed tofu in a mix of spices and nutritional yeast.tasty but not quite what I was going for). I want some super crusty goodness! The bigger success was the coconut rum ice cream! Coconut Rum Ice Cream.

Football Is Not For This Vegan
http://adventurousvegan.com/football-is-not-for-this-vegan
Adventure. Vegan style. Football Is Not For This Vegan. Well now that I’ve tried it again, it is NOT for me. Lol. Just about my entire life even when I wasn’t vegan, I weighed at most. I can now see why some professionals like Sarah’s dad stray away from anything that might harm the tools they use (their hands) in their careers like dentistry. Mine on the other hand (get it. on the other hand. ha ha ha. Anyways, I think I’ll leave football to the real vegan pros like Tony Gonzalez. UPDATE * * *. So I wen...
