November 10, 2011, 5:48 pm. For a long time I have a dying wish…that I could sing praises of my mum, to tell the world I am proud of her. That she is the most wonderful person on earth. But I have mixed feelings. There was a saying that mother and daughter can never be good friends. I have been doubtful when I read this and always wish to bet to differ. But this saying holds true in my case. I guess there was always conflict of interest. Lessons I have learnt from mum:. Keep my distance to protect myself.
