Sunday, August 31, 2008. 1 Raw pea nuts 2 cups. 2 Finely chopped Onion 1. 3 Finely chopped Tomato 1. 4 Garlic 2 pearls. 5 Green chilly 1. 6 Cinnamon ¼ inch. 8 Garam masala 1 tsp. 9 Salt to taste. 10 Turmeric powder a pinch. 11 Aegina motto a pinch. 12 Sugar a little. 183; Soak pea nuts for 4 hrs and pressure cook it. 183; Grind ½ onion ½ tomato along with cinnamon, garlic, chilly and clove to paste. 183; In a pan splutter mustard, cumin and add the paste. If it is dry add little water to make it as gravy.

Sunday, September 28, 2008. Tur dal - 1/2cup. Rice - 1 cup. Turmeric powder - a pinch. Tamarind - size of a lime. Red chillies - 6nos. Green chillies - 4nos. Curry leaves - few. Mixed vegetables of ur choice(optional). Small onions - 10 to 12. Red chillies - 6nos. Fenugreek seeds - 1tsp. Coriander seeds - 1tsp. Grated dry coconut (copparai). Channa dal - 1 tsp. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the ingredients for powdering until fenugreek turns golden brown in colour. Powder and keep aside.

I just used 2 tbsp of ghee, organic carrots, some milk, sugar and it took me only about 20 mins to make it. So here is the simple recipe for Carrot Halwa. Carrot- grated- 2 cups.
