Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Is upon us, and I cannot wait to stuff my face with all that delicious food. Although I love any holiday that involves eating mass quantities of food, I do find Thanksgiving kind of sad considering all the turkeys that are being feasted on. It's really unnecessary if you think about it. I mean, this isn't the first Thanksgiving or anything. It's 2008, we have options. So this year try a vegetarian Thanksgiving. Complete with a tofurkey. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Usually to stop these cravings, I think about animals and get grossed out by the meat and it's over. But for one craving, I can't really do that. It's the broccoli cheddar soup. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Last night, my roommate's boyfriend, Stew, decided that he was going to cook dinner for her. He texted. When Stew arrived with the ravioli, he opened the foil to reveal that he had made a little barricade. Of tin foil that separated a small section of ravioli without meat sauce from the larger section that contained meat sauce. All this trouble, just for me! It was heartwarming. I am going to tell my roommate that if she dumps him, she's an idiot. Wednesday, September 24, 2008.

Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Factory Farming Part Two. As I discussed earlier, there are many aspects of factory farming. That I consider evil. The worst is the ethical part. It is my belief that people have no right to eat animals in the first place when there are so many other alternatives. But since that probably won't convince anyone, here are some other reasons to stop. Animals are transported through horrible weather conditions, in the backs of uncovered trucks where they must brave the elements.
