An awfully big adventure…. Hangover killer →. Top 5 running bits of 2016. January 1, 2017. However, here’s my top 5 running moments of 2016, inspired by Curtis’s parkrun piece. Mini Mermaids – at times it was more like herding cats than anything else, but I was so proud of my bunch of 9yr olds getting around the parkrun course at Roundhay Park on a December morning that I’m going back to do it all again. M)Eat less, Run more! Ran another half marathon and back at goal weight :). Sorry I haven't been posting. I'm still around, just incredibly busy with work and training. I ran another half marathon this past Saturday (#13in2013), which also happened to be my birthday :) and I'm also back down to 116. I think the extra mileage the past few weeks helped to finally get rid of those pesky 2 pounds! Hope you all are doing well! Laura Runs a Latte. Monday was 40 minutes on the Arc Trainer. Saturday is a rest day.

M)Eat less, Run more! Week One, Day Five. I did much better today, although I could have made a healthier choice for dinner ;). Breakfast: Cream of Wheat (Maple and Brown Sugar). 2 cups coffee with Cafe Mocha. Lunch: Thai-style Cabbage Noodles. Dinner: General Tso Tofu with veggie fried rice. M)Eat less, Run more! Week One, Day Four. 4 cups coffee with Cafe Mocha and Devil's Food donut. Baked macaroni and cheese. Nutter Butter snack pack. Salad (3 cups shredded lettuce with diced tomatoes, onions and celery) with sliced olives, sesame sticks and Tahini Lime Sauce. 2 cups coffee with Cafe Mocha. Well actually, I should say half-marathon training started today because I added to/adjusted my marathon training plan for the half I'm doing on my birthday (June 22nd). M)Eat less, Run more! Hi, I'm Laura. I've maintained a 100 pound weight-loss since May 2009. The weight loss credit goes to Weight Watchers. And myself of course! But I credit the maintenance to running, especially the C25k. Program (Couch to 5k), which is what started my addiction to running back in the fall of 2009! In the house, I have to lock her out of the treadmill room because she spends the entire time simultaneously trying to get on the treadmill and eating the belt :(. Lucy and her piggy :).
