August 10, 2015. August 10, 2015. Tonight’s meal used a lot of produce from the allotment and as it was sooooo delicious I’m blogging the recipe to remember for next time. Sweat a chopped onion and garlic ( both home grown) in a frying pan with a drizzle of oil. Add chopped potatoes (home grown first earlies. Chopped into same sized cubes);. Add garam masala, turmeric, ginger, powdered garlic… Think that was all. Cook for approx. 5 minutes. 5 clean bowls so obviously delicious! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Tons of tomatoes! – Wellie-Blog

August 18, 2015. August 18, 2015. The picture above shows just 1 of 2 Pyrex bowls of the tomatoes before going into the oven to roast. We have so many we are not able to eat them all fresh! We have also had plenty if red but also some have refused to ripen or the skins have been scarred. As we have eaten the best as we went along we don’t think it’s too much of a sin to try to make the best out if the rest. Grown with sunshine, cooked with sunshine.
