Friday, June 29, 2007. Green Cabbage and Carrot Salad. 189; medium size cabbage. 189; tsp. Turmeric powder. 189; tsp. Asafetida powder. 3-4 pieces or green chili. 1 tsp Peanut powder. 189; tsp. Mustered seeds. 1 tsp Lemon juice. Some curry leaves if you like. Some chopped coriander leaves. First finely chop cabbage and great carrots. In salad bowl get chopped cabbage and grated carrot and then add salt, sugar, and peanut powder. Now add prepared oil, lemon juice mix it well. Rice Flour Spicy Pancakes.

Sunday, July 08, 2007. 1 tin condensed milk. 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour. 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp. baking soda. 4 oz melted butter. 1 tsp any fruit extract or vanilla extract. 1/2 cup soda water or club soda. Preheat oven at 350. Grease your 8" round cake pan, or your cup cake pan. Sieve all dry ingredients. In a large bowl pour condensed milk, butter, extract and beat well till smooth and then add 1/2 cup of milk and soda water. Mix it well and add flour spoon by spoon into the mixture.

Friday, June 29, 2007. 1/2 cup Sago/Sabudana/ Tapioca. Raisons or Cashews (optional). 1 Wash Sago/ Tapioca, drain but make sure there should be some water (1/4 cup or so) in Tapioca and set aside for 5-6 hours (or overnight). 2 Boil milk and add Sago/Tapioca and heat again till sago is cooked and turns soft and translucent. 3 Now add sugar and heat for some time or till the sugar dissolves completely. 4 Sprinkle cardamom powder and saffron and Garnish with Raisons and Cashews and serve hot or chilled.
