Books for 2010 | Going to Pieces
https://goingtopieces.wordpress.com/books-for-2010
So I have decided to read again, after having spent several years just falling asleep to a book, rather than actively devouring it. Since I travel to work by car, I don’t have the luxury of a 20 minute journey on public journey, when I don’t have to be doing anything else. Although I don’t miss the daily commute on slightly unreliable trains, I do miss that time. This will be a list of books that I read this year. Please feel free to add your comments or thoughts. Pre-1st January to present. And really e...

Is a recently started Open University course. I’m trying to broaden my options and so signed up for an Openings unit (one of those courses that are gentle entrances into more challenging units). That word count restriction was obviously still buzzing in my veins when I stumbled across Julia’s challenge. What does i...

Books update – sort of. Day 4 →. March 3, 2010 · 9:33 pm. Day 3 – it’s all happening. We moved on from rubble to sawdust, as the rather fabulously laid-back fitter assembles the units. I got rather over-excited by the prospect of being able to move around. Can’t wait to bake. Oh, it’s much better when you read it yourself. Beg, steal or borrow a copy of the original. Musings on an ordinary life. 25 March, 2011. I have no idea if anyone ever visits any more but I thought I'd post anyway. I don't know if you noticed, but I pretty much stopped blogging. No real reason why. Things got busy and you say to yourself "oh I'll post something tomorrow" and the next thing you know, it's a year and a half later. A fair bit has happened since I last blogged, but I won't put everything here in detail since I'm sure I'll need topics later! Good to hear from you - now write more!

Musings on an ordinary life. 08 September, 2009. Chickie's chipped tooth has been repaired but the dentist has decided to send him off to the orthodontist early. Since he's chipped that same tooth twice now (and being a kid there's a high chance he'll fall over again at some stage in his life.), the dentist thinks it might be beneficial to start evening out his teeth a bit sooner than they usually do.
