MEINE GEDANKEN, MEINE TRÄUME,…, MEIN BLOG. Heute war es sehr herbstlich. Es hat geregnet und die Blätter fallen von den Bäumen. Das eigentliche Probleme sind aber die Walnüsse. Dieses Jahr haben wir Tonnen davon und ich kann sie nicht ausstehen. Man muβ einen Helm im Garten tragen, weil die Teile so riesig sind, dass sie einem, eine Beule verabreichen könnten. Auβerdem killen die Walnuβbäume alles, was unter ihnen zu gedeihen versucht. Noch ein Grund für mich, Walnüsse, zu hassen…. From your own site.

Ich wollte mir eine neue Jeans kaufen, da ich ja soviel abgenommen habe. 20 lbs und jetzt passen mir meine Klamotten nicht mehr, oder die alten passen wieder, gefallen mir aber nicht. Mein Zimmer, das ich renovieren will, ist komplett ausgeräumt. Jetzt warte ich nur darauf, dass mir Martin zeigt, wie man das Holz abschleift, so dass, ch es streichen kann.

Thursday, May 31, 2007. The race at Lewis&Clark is only two days away, so today, I had planned to go out there to get one more ride in. I wanted to wait until the afternoon, to give the trail a chance to dry out some more, since we had all that rain. I had a few things to do today and kept thinking:"what a gorgeous day", when everyone I talked to told me about the rain that we are supposed to get. I jumped in the car and made a run for L&C. Saturday, June 30, 2007. Landahl Canceled-Heartland Series WON! Last night, we got the news: The last race of the Heartland Series. They had so much rain this week down in Kansas that the trails down there are not ridable. And they decided not to reschedule. The good news is, that I was after the first three races the clear winner of my category, so I can happily say, that I have the first race series win under my belt:) Mission accomplished! So, do I see you tomorrow at Swanson Park? PS: I am loosing it!

Isn't it nice of him to wear that stupid hat for me:). Well, as some of you know, we got Whiskers to keep Chelsea. Company. She was my beloved Jack Russell that I had for over 12 years. I have to admit that I am very timid, when it comes to cornering, breaking, riding over rough stuff and such but again, I am a total newby on the road. And doesn't like being cold. But she volunteered to come with us. To say she saved the weekend is an understatement. Without her I would have lost it and the kids probably would have had a horrible time. She was a rock star acting as tent boss, soigneur, and go between for Michele and I. That first night was cold.
