Monday, January 29, 2007. Today was the first of my two days off work. After my first proper session at my new gym* I moved on the short distance to Hatfield Moor, to see what treasures this relatively new reserve holds in the. erm. depths of winter. As I arrived, a butterfly flew across the track in front of me. I know winter butterflies are not unknown, but I think that was a January first for me! On pulling into the car park, the first obvious bird was a Moorhen. S and a Meadow. S and Black-headed Gull.

Two people at school who I know (they used to be my best friends but yeah, another story) are in love. They must be. There's no other way to put it. They're 16. And it's generally ok and accepted because they're together and happy etc etc. But what about being heartbroken? I also know people at school, aged 15/16 , who are in love with someone who doesn't. It's just a teenage crush! How many 'to be's?

My piano teacher texted me today telling me she'd got the results (yes my piano teacher, I do flute in my piano lessons lol) and I've got 115 which means I passed!
