GreensNalaska: Malcolm
http://whistlebeak.blogspot.com/2011/09/malcolm.html
Wednesday, September 7, 2011. About a month ago Julie and I went a visiting. A few photographs and a few videos were taken. We had two primary goals. We wanted to see Ryan and Ashley. It had been quite a while. We ate ice cream. We ate a bunch of stuff. We talked a lot. Ashley was feeling a bit under the weather. If you know what I mean. She wasn't up to much extra activity. She had been quite involved lately. A busy little furry mammal that builds aquatic structures. Ryan was able to spend time from work.

Saturday, September 11, 2010. We have an apple tree in our back yard. Yep. A real apple tree. There are some fruit trees up here, orchards even, but not many. Some people work at it and are quite successful. I think the number of bees from year to year make a difference. And I'm sure that if I knew something about growing apples, how and when to prune, fertilize and whatever else we'd have a bumper crop every year. They might even grow bigger, I haven't a clue. Pretty artistic, eh? Links to this post.

The Green Team: Cotopaxi Questival
http://rybreadandbebe.blogspot.com/2015/06/cotopaxi-questival.html
It's this easy being Green. Friday, June 19, 2015. Last year, Laura and Andrew participated in the first Cotopaxi Questival. They were toting around their kids though, so they didn't have very high points or the ability to really go all out. So Laura decided this year was the year! She was determined to win, and recruited Me, Dad, Jordan, and MiQuelle to do it with her. We fed the homeless, we visited parks, did hikes, ate food, ate bugs! At the end of the 24 hours we were in THIRD PLACE! March 15, 2007.

Thursday, February 25, 2010. A whole lotta cookin' goin' on. So a couple weeks ago, Dawn Hibbert, (Michael's mom), had a great idea to do some bulk cooking using a cookbook that she had. We picked three recipes and each bought enough ingredients for one recipe X 6. Then we got together and chopped and cooked up a storm! It was a really fun evening and we felt so productive! It's true what they say about many hands make light work. Thanks, Dawn, for the great idea! Reine was a good helper too! An aside he...

It's this easy being Green. Friday, June 19, 2015. A Colossal Conglomeration of Random Photos From Contemporary Green Life. Yes, I frequent Thesaurus.com while writing blog posts, why do you ask? I'm so terribly behind on my blogging, that you get to have this giant picture vomit of a post to make up for all the smaller posts I should have been doing instead. If you make it to the end- there's a prize! We're taking it back people. WAY back! Random moments in a filthy mirror. Matching colors! Our first ti...

It's this easy being Green. Monday, September 15, 2014. San Rafael Swell, Labor Day Weekend. We had invited the Titensors to join us, and when Malcolm found out that Denali wasn't actually coming, this was his reaction. (see him all ready in his coat and head lamp? Our campsite. There was only us and one other set of campers. Thanks to the campsite being the most level and shaded, we ended up right next door to the only other guys there. Hope they didn't mind! And suckers and gummie bears! Back at camp f...
