Pilot Bio-gas grid at Kolvan. GIZ has installed bio-gas plant of capacity 400 m3 based on dry digestion technology with Napier Grass as feed material in Kolvan village of Pune district. For piloting the bio-gas pipeline network, bio-gas is supplied through piped network to one of the nearby households for cooking, the self-help group which cooks mid-day meal of 400 students in the nearby school and at the plant site.
