What is an Intrepid Mom? Why Around the World? My Hippie Life in the 21st Century. Written on June 11, 2012. If I didn’t know better I would think I’d stepped back in time, living on a hippy commune and rallying against the establishment. But this is 2012 and we’re at VerdEnergia. Here’s a slideshow of our class and VerdEnergia:. VerdEnergia Permaculture Course from Tony Armstrong. Be Sociable, Share! 4 Comments - Leave a comment! Mudd and Bones News: Worst trip ever.... well, not really but.....
http://muddandbones.blogspot.com/2009/05/worst-trip-ever-well-not-really-but.html
Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Worst trip ever. well, not really but. Here is a vulture drying his wings during a brief respite from the rain. We did manage to get out one day for a short tour. It was cloudy but we didn't get rained on. We went to dolphin bay and saw some dolphins, then we went snorkeling. We saw some amazing squids that changed color several times as we watched them. I wish I could have gotten some pictures. Posted by Mike Mudd. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Mudd and Bones News: Feria
http://muddandbones.blogspot.com/2009/06/feria.html
Sunday, June 21, 2009. Today we went to the local feria (farmers market) as we do every Sunday. One of the coolest things about Costa Rica is that you can buy 90% of your food from local vendors. It's very easy to avoid big chain stores here. Today was a happy day because there was an abundance of pejibaye. We even found some fresh mushrooms, which are normally hard to find. Yum. Mudd and Bones News: Isla de Ometepe part 1
http://muddandbones.blogspot.com/2009/05/isle-de-ometepe-part-1.html
Thursday, May 21, 2009. Isla de Ometepe part 1. Last weekend we took a trip to Nicaragua. We went to the beautiful island of Ometepe which is a small island with two big volcanoes (one active, one not) in the middle of Lago de Nicaragua (lake Nicaragua). The 8 hours of bus travel and the chaotic border crossing was NO fun but it was worth it. It was an amazing place! We went for a walk in the preserve, it was great! Posted by Mike Mudd. Mudd and Bones News: Howler Monkeys and Aracaris
http://muddandbones.blogspot.com/2009/06/howler-monkeys-and-aracaris.html
Sunday, June 28, 2009. Howler Monkeys and Aracaris. I'm trying to get some of the video that we've taken over the last year up. These are some random animal videos. The Howler monkeys are from our trip to Manual Antonio, Costa Rica. These guys are stinky, very loud, and have GIGANTIC balls. But they are fun to see jumping around in the trees and making some noise. It's hard not to join them in their "howling". Uploaded by Mike Mudd. Posted by Mike Mudd. Thursday, March 05, 2009. Sam got the job teaching Englsh in San Isidro de Coronado. She's teaching at a small English school that works with the a local agricultural co-op. It's a nice job and she really likes the students. So, we found a nice little house outside of town, it's nice and it has a. There is a small farm on the side of our house and a small (at least in the dry season) river behind our house. Here are some pics of the side and back of our house. Posted by Mike Mudd.

Mudd and Bones News: Fiesta!
http://muddandbones.blogspot.com/2008/12/fiesta.html
Monday, December 22, 2008. As always it's been an interesting couple of weeks. Mike has been working on his music and has put together a new version of his song "The Wind". The funniest thing about it was that we won the contest. It was definitely a pity win, as we were the worst dancers on the floor. Funny stuff! As always, we're keeping track of the more farm related activities on our other blog http:/ verdenergiablog.blogspot.com/. Posted by Mike Mudd. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
