http://tdfetape2010.blogspot.com/2010/05/my-r3-im-hoping-thats-no-crack.html
Welcome and a big hello to this my collection of thoughts on my preparation for the 2010 Etape Du Tour. Sunday, 23 May 2010. My R3 - I'm Hoping thats not a Crack. Sun - and lots of it. So then, how's everyone's bib shorts and cycling top tan going? I'm well on the way to looking somewhat ridiculous with my legs going a rather nice bronze colour. But anyway. I digress. A Crack in the R3? I'm off to the LBS next weekend to have it looked over. With only 2 weeks to go until the Dragon Ride. Food, food, food.

Stuart's Etape 2010: It looks like the dragon can wait
http://tdfetape2010.blogspot.com/2010/06/it-looks-like-dragon-can-wait.html
Welcome and a big hello to this my collection of thoughts on my preparation for the 2010 Etape Du Tour. Tuesday, 1 June 2010. It looks like the dragon can wait. As some of you may know, this coming weekend, well actually on Sunday the 6th of June to be precise, sees the annual running of The Dragon Ride. Sadly it's looking highly likely as I'll have to bail out of this event which of course is a great shame. In addition to the sore backside is a sore IT Band which is far more of a concern. I used to ...

A chronicle of cycling ups and downs. Wednesday, 30 June 2010. So that's it, then. Bag packed, training done, last-minute panics had. All that remains is the journey and the race. I've borrowed a tiny digital video camera with which I hope to record some of the suffering and upload edited bits on to the blog after the event. Big thanks to Piers for answering the extremely last-minute call. Tuesday, 22 June 2010. What goes up must come down. Spinning wheel got to go 'round. I have Blood, Sweat and Tears.

A chronicle of cycling ups and downs. Monday, 24 May 2010. Nice one, centurion. I think he wants to know which way up you want to be crucified. There was a point yesterday when I wondered whether crucifixion may have been a more pain-free option. Actually, there were several; the first being when the knee flared up after a mere six miles on the road. But the experience of the previous week taught me to carry on and it soon responded well to the heat of work. And that was that. Long, swooping descent ...

Etape du Tour 2010: January 2010
http://conqueringthetourmalet.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Etape du Tour 2010. Friday, 29 January 2010. To ride or not to ride. Checking out the weather forecast for the coming weekend, there look to be some pretty treacherous conditions heading our way. The temperatures over the next couple of nights will drop to -4, potentially leaving behind a lot of black ice come morning. Even during the day the temperature will be just above freezing (actually feeling more like -4). Unfortunately my road bike isn't equipped. Wednesday, 27 January 2010. Labels: Etape du Tour.

metropeloton: June 2010

Saturday, 26 June 2010. A poor workman blames his tools. As you know, a couple of Saturdays ago saw the now annual pilgrimage to Smithfield to watch the (ever improving) Nocturne. As you all know the folding bike race became yet another Hendernator procession but I do now think that the Elite race could do with stepping up a gear to attract a more international entry level rather than simply being another national level crit with the odd (HTC sponsored) guest rider. Sunday, 20 June 2010. Of course, yours...

Stuart's Etape 2010: There's no time to take any risks....
http://tdfetape2010.blogspot.com/2010/06/theres-no-time-to-take-any-risks.html
Welcome and a big hello to this my collection of thoughts on my preparation for the 2010 Etape Du Tour. Thursday, 3 June 2010. There's no time to take any risks. As I said last time, the Dragon can wait. So against my usual poor judgement I've decided not to partake in this years Dragon Ride. Due to the slight niggle that's become my right IT band. The Etape remains the priority and anything else purely window dressing. So what should I do to make sure I'm there in Pau come July? 2) Over the counter Drugs.
