Domesticity - suetekh
http://suetekh.livejournal.com/6231.html
10:04 am June 13th, 2008. Last night I was having a gentle tidy.folding laundry, doing the washing up, sewing buttons on type of thing.looked around and the kitty had tidied herself into a drawer. I suppoe there was residual warmth in the freshly ironed clothes. She does love to vary her napping places, and any new box open cupbaords is fair game for investigation. And finally, as much a surprise to me as anything: today I feel well! Or Leave a comment. June 13th, 2008 10:25 am (UTC). But yes, strange an...

09:48 am June 17th, 2008. 1) Driving theory test booked for July 8th.this should stop my instructor nagging my arse off. 2) Corset accepted for the Wearable Art section of the Festival of Quilts - have it up for prizes in 'best use of colour' category as well, plus for sale so would be very nice indeed not to have to bring it home. Or Leave a comment. Thread started by veridianeyes. June 17th, 2008 09:05 am (UTC). 1) Hurrah, i think! June 17th, 2008 10:03 am (UTC). Fingers crossed for both of us. June 17...

Domestic Panic... - suetekh

Domestic Panic. - suetekh. 08:20 pm August 5th, 2008. While I was going to be away, Pijay offered to house sit for for - water the plants, feed the cat. I had a call on Friday morning to ask how to work the sound on the telly as the x-box wasn't working. I could hear noises off in the background - the noise of several teenage boys . My house is full of teenage boys. Teenage boys are icky! I feared for my nice china! I told P that no-one was to go through my lingerie drawer. Or Leave a comment. August 11t...

Home again, home again. - suetekh. 06:26 pm August 5th, 2008. Home again, home again. Am going to spend the rest of the evening eating sausage and mash, resisting the urge to be snarky to strangers making inappropriate assumptions and finishing updates to. That are woefully behind due to being so fuzzy, tired and ill. Or Leave a comment. Thread started by midnightxpress. August 5th, 2008 06:13 pm (UTC). Glad you had a good time, hon. Unusual Species - suetekh. 02:27 pm June 16th, 2008. Albert continues on his killing spree. But that's not all! Looking less startled and more damned pissed off was a frigging stoat. As yes. Sredni Vastar. Hmmmmaybe I should have a little Sredni stoat instead as a household totem? It's a source of much intrigue as to just what that cat is going to drag in next! EDIT: oooOOooo - blimey, there's an audio file of Shredni Vashtar being read as a Late night Story by.Tom Baker! Or Leave a comment. He'll have t...

Kitty wrangling over the weekend - suetekh. 11:17 am June 23rd, 2008. Kitty wrangling over the weekend. And no, not a kitty, but a Kitty Rose, Scott and Emma's first born and delightfully rambunctious two-year-old, who have been visiting since Wednesday. She's a very determined young lady, and still a little put out that her motor skills don't quite yet match her desires, but we've been having a lot of fun tearing after her as she takes in Cornwall at top speed. Of course, once she had exhausted the rese...

Road Warrior in the rain. - suetekh. 12:55 pm July 18th, 2008. Road Warrior in the rain. So the drive in was entertaining.the Clio does want to fly, so the merest press of the throttle and it takes off. The weather was heavy mist, almost to the point of rain, but not quite. which looks just beautiful in Cornwall, but not road conditions that I've driven in before, plus never actually been a charge of a car with a passenger other than an instructor with dual controls. Daintiness Pic Spam: tea_and_crumpet
http://tea-and-crumpet.livejournal.com/31703.html
Part of the fun of afternoon tea at home is building a collection of tea things.and let's face it there are a lot of peripheral fripperies one can indulge in.no end of embroidered linens, tray clothes, silver sugar tongs and cake stands to fill up the cupboards with. Plus a willow pattern tea cosy for a whole English pound. Bargain. So I dusted off the Real Old Willow Pattern as well, and made everything look pretty. Tatted doilies.tatting is just so delicate! And a steampunky corner:. Post a new comment.

The case of the weary traveller and the teapot: tea_and_crumpet

The case of the weary traveller and the teapot. Yesterday whilst exhausting myself walking around Whitby I was in dire need of Tea and at the suggestion of. Earlier in the day,me and my dearest went to Sherlocks. How could I not be drawn to the lovely forest green exterior and the sign tempting me with tea? The tea was ordered for two and the teapot held enough for 4 cups which was just what was needed. And who could resist such lovely decor? If you find yourself in Whitby I really do recommend a visit!
