Viennese Waltz was first European dance to be executed in close hold, and was therefore considered scandalous when it reached England in the early 1800's. Carolyn and Bill Pedrick have been dancing together for about 25 years, and have competed as amateurs in International Ballroom dancing for more than half of those years in both the US and in Canada. They began their competitive training with Bobbi Davies (formerly 2nd in the USA), and are now coached by Alain Doucet and Anik Jolicoeur (5-time World Professional 10-Dance champions) in Montreal.

As with a number of ballroom dances, there are a number of different flavors, of which International Cha-Cha is one. The buck was kept in a horse stall, 10 x 10 with a latch that I locked by putting fencing wire through the clasp and twisting it tightly closed.
