Directions To Vernon Healthfest. The Vernon Healthfest is held at the Vernon Center Middle School (VCMS), 777 Hartford Turnpike (Route 30) in Vernon. Should the school parking lot fill, overflow parking is available at the nearby Center Road Elementary School. There is a shuttle and Vernon Police Explorers will be available to assist you. All proceeds benefit Vernon Youth Services. The Vernon Youth Services Bureau offers a variety of direct service programs for Vernon youth. Proceeds from the 2011 Holistic Healthfest supported our Summer Youth Employment program that provides job opportunities to income eligible youth. Participants in this program learn employment skills including: resume writing, interviewing, appropriate dress, work ethic and attitudes. The employment covers a six week period, 20 hours/week.
