the flying moleskins: OH MY ! - DOMINIQUE EICHI
http://theflyingmoleskins.blogspot.com/2011/12/oh-my.html
Friday, December 23, 2011. 5 x 9 Acrylic. The discovery I made in my closet : /. This should of been gone like 6 months ago if not more. I do not know why it got tucked away in there. I can only say, Michelle. You should have it now. I'm so sorry for this delay. I always wanted to paint a flower with water drops on it. So here it is. These drops where not easy to put on because I did not want to mess up the work underneath. Finally it will get to it's owner. : ). We might still have one book floating?

Zen And The Art Of Film Appreciation: Bottle Shock- A Harmonious Blend of Life
http://zataofa.blogspot.com/2009/08/bottle-shock-harmonious-blend-of-life.html
Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Bottle Shock- A Harmonious Blend of Life. The story is based on the true events when in 1976 Steven Spurrier invited 12 American Vineyards to participate in a blind wine tasting challenge against the top wine makers of France. In a shocking upset, the Americans took the top honors in two categories, which opened the doors and changed the world's impression that the French were the sole experts on winemaking. The Bull Pen: ATC's Continued.
http://therennbullpen.blogspot.com/2009/09/atcs-continued.html
Friday, September 18, 2009. These are the cards I received in the two exchanges I participated in. Needless to say I was quite thrilled to have taken part in the trades but even more delighted to have this small collection of portable art for my very own. But I think it is worth the expense and effort, to have such mini masterpieces to keep and cherish. And these exchanges , like these blogs, brings us closer together as an artistic community. Zen And The Art Of Film Appreciation: Sunshine Cleaning - Life Can Be A Messy Business
http://zataofa.blogspot.com/2009/08/sunshine-cleaning-life-can-be-messy.html
Thursday, August 27, 2009. Sunshine Cleaning - Life Can Be A Messy Business. This is a very daring film that deals with a very sensitive issue of what happens behind the scenes when someone dies. The darker side of life that only a certain group of people ever have to see. It is never easy to deal with a loved one dying, but even harder still is when they depart in a way where they leave a horrific mess. It is tragic and disturbing, and well. messy! Emily Blunt is well suited to play emotionally unbalanc...

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Another Dimension to Diana. Just wanted to throw in a quick post. As much as I like working the old school skills, I like to take a lot of my art to the next plateau. I am a fan of mixed mediums, and I like giving my fine art a wash through the Photoshop bathtub. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Central New Jersey, United States. Sunday, June 7, 2009. Digging into the Past. Since joining the challenge group (DSFDF) I have been forced to rediscover, quite willingly skills I had let fall by the wayside. I was never fond of doing landscapes, not because as others might say, it was out of my comfort level. But because I have honestly , always found them boring. And regrettably, I have lost the other side of art which is the personal expression and interpretation of the soul through art. Abstract art is probably the best vehicle f...

The Bull Pen: Following The Masters - Challenge Seven - Self Portraits
http://therennbullpen.blogspot.com/2009/10/following-masters-challenge-seven-self.html
Monday, October 5, 2009. Following The Masters - Challenge Seven - Self Portraits. I recently started following another online artist challenge hosted by Michelle Burnett called "Following The Masters". http:/ followingthemasters.blogspot.com/. Each challenge is designed to bring focus to the creative styles of past masters. This challenge's focus is the "self portrait". I tried to pattern this piece in a similar style that Escher might have used, while infusing my own unique flair to it in the process.
