Tuesday, March 20, 2012. This morning, half the members of our family took a trip into D.C. to see the beautiful cherry blossoms which are in full bloom. Unfortunately, the other half of our family had to go to school and work (sorry guys! Sebastian - happy to get his photo taken. Josephine - no interest in getting her photo taken. With a little encouragement (o.k., a LOT. Of encouragement), Josephine finally agreed to a photo. A picnic by the Tidal Basin. I took this before. March 20, 2012 at 10:30 PM.

So when she finally arrived home, Veronica was on no monitors and no oxygen. She came home primarily bottle feeding (with expressed breastmilk) but by one month post discharge, she was primarily breastfed. Monday, March 25, 2013. On the fifth day of spring, we were blessed with about 2 inches of snow which was enough to close schools for the day. Andrew got out the snow gear which was already all packed away for the season and out the kids went for some fun in the snow. Veronica - happy to play in the snow! Josephine - happy to be eating the snow! Theodore - teaching his sisters how to make the perfect snowman. Sebastian and Linus - snow soccer. Andrew puts on Sebastian's boot while Sebastian eats the snow.

Peace starts with a smile…. September 26, 2011. One thing that I loved about taking these photos was seeing pictures of her siblings in the house and Veronica looks just like them. Her first pictures taken in the NICU had lots of tubes and breathing assistance so it was kind of hard to tell but by the time she reached 40 or so weeks gestational age, she looks like one of the gang.
