The Balls Out Domestic Club: About Us
http://ballsoutdomesticclub.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
There are five of us. While we live all over the Pacific Northwest (jealous? And haven't you wanted to start knitting again? And I've got a wheat grinder, we should get together and use it, and cheese! We could make cheese! Or maybe a compost bin and chickens. Or maybe just all of it. Megan more or less has a dairy farm. With a garden, goats and chickens- not to mention 32 whole acres! But along the way, we have blogged about it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Family Fun with Hedbanz™ Electronic Game. New E...

The Balls Out Domestic Club: February 2012
http://ballsoutdomesticclub.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 18, 2012. Jewelry, chocolates, and roses are all very nice but nothing says love like time spent together. Hanging out in a dusty valley with 30,000 other 4x4 fans was not what came immediately to mind when I envisioned this Valentine’s weekend but I tried to keep an open mind as we left Bend with a car full of camping gear, firewood, beer and sunscreen. Hang with me on this post. The domestic part comes at the very end. Last weekend we drove sixteen hours down to Johnson V. We drove o...

Wednesday, July 20, 2011. What do you give the neighbors as an "I am so sorry my chickens at the "hens and chicks" plants that belonged to your parents" gift? And what are the odds that the chickens would eat a plant called "hens and chicks? Would a stew chicken be out of line? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Family Fun with Hedbanz™ Electronic Game. The Balls Out Domestic Club: Friendly Feta! (With Bonus Pasteurization Lesson!)
http://ballsoutdomesticclub.blogspot.com/2011/07/friendly-feta-with-bonus-pasteurization.html
Tuesday, July 12, 2011. With Bonus Pasteurization Lesson! Feta is not my favorite. Now don't get me wrong, I like Feta. It just doesn't make me feel all melty and gluttonous like other cheeses do. Feta is good in moderation with other ingredients to temper it's strong personality, while some other cheeses (in my opinion) are best in hunks straight off the plate. Have you heard of it? I also have new toys! 1) a "smart phone" have you heard of these? 1) Milk your goat! 3) Chill the milk! If you were pasteu...

Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Fun in the sun and snow. I will pretty much let the photos speak for themselves. though it should be said that when we had finished skiing with Ava for the first time, Aaron told me it was one of the best days of his life. He loves his little girl. In other fun news, the baby who doesn't sleep has actually been sleeping. We are well-rested here today. Three teeth and one coming. Too bad the hair is slower than the teeth. :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Pepper Lime - Krysten.

http://less-traveled-by.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 10, 2008. Aaron really doesn't like Dr. Google. I think his dislike stems from the fact that when the good Dr. worried me (pretty much every time he was consulted), Aaron had to calm me down. So, we made the decision not to see him anymore. It has been hard, but we are managing. There have been some unintended consequences though. Finding a way to pin my neurosis on the amazing nurse. :). I tried to post some pictures, but ran into a few technical difficulties. I will try again later.

http://less-traveled-by.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 15, 2007. Photos from all over. We miss French bread but are enjoying Italian cheese. Aaron still has a bottle of wine in his pack, though the nation of origin is continually changing. We have also updated a few of the previous posts with photos. Friday, June 8, 2007. Our first stop in Spain was San Sebastin where the food was incredible. We are going to start up our own Tapas culture in Leavenworth when we get back! What a trip - even had a good freeze overnight. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
