For a time, I was regularly composing poems as an exercise in creativity to revitalize my spark for saxophoning. At some point I started to think of myself as as poet. That is, until I stopped writing. So, I’ve begun a new experiment. Instead of absorbing hours of podcasts on my regular underground commute to NYC, I’m going to write a poem.
