I still have a sore throat and ulceration in my mouth however this is bearable and my painkiller intake is reduced to a few co codamol when necessary. Eating is becoming easier but lack of saliva is still an issue so everything still needs washing down with copious amounts of liquid. 8220;Gravy and creamy sauces are the best!

Had a good clinic with Dr Sen on Tuesday where he really told me that the symptoms and side effects that I am currently suffering. Are all normal and what he would expect for this time in the treatment cycle. 2 weeks to go 9 sessions of radiotherapy and 1 chemo! Felt terrible couldnt eat or drink you dont really want to know. Well washed up! Started to eat mainly joghurt pannacota and protein shakes. Still producing thick Phlegm and spitting every 5 minutes. Dribbling all night. Aweful! Week 19. Started to feel a little better. I could even start to taste the hops! Thursday am George full English.

Its been a while since I posted anythingbut I have been gradually recovering and after having a little wobble in early October I am feeling fine. I saw Dr Sen on October 17th who felt my neck and told me not to worry. He could not feel anything bad and I had a cold so I was feeling miserable and had a sore throat. It was just a cold and I guess I am susceptable still to germs and infections.
