Sew, ray, me: A taste of Spring
http://www.sewrayme.co.uk/2015/03/a-taste-of-spring.html
Sunday, 22 March 2015. A taste of Spring. How refreshing to finally see some bursts of colour outdoors, Spring has sprung! I have finally had the motivation to go outside and clear the garden of it's brown carpet (leaves, dead weeds, stalks from long gone flowers.). Wrapped up warm in the crisp sunshine, it has literally been a breath of fresh air to be outdoors! Woodland walks have been spent ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the abundance of Snowdrops. And splashes of bright, cheery pink in the garden. Div align=...

An indie handmade jewelry and crafts creation house. Interviews, Shops and Sponsorships. The pendant necklaces in this collection all have a vintage piece in them. I love working around vintage earrings, brooches, and accessories, in a way that gives them a new life. Some of the items below were part of a bigger picture, that was dismantled so that I would make new use of its parts. An example of this can be found in picture. The one below is a custom-made Syrian glass bead with crochet (yes, I actually ...

A scatty sewers journey through the world of sewing. Ok, every home sewer makes a few things for their hols, to stand out in the crowd, to look unique what ever the reason it is always nice to wear something that you’ve made yourself. I set myself the task to make the majority of my holiday clothes this year, i even contemplated making my bikinis, but that can wait till next year. So here are the outfits I made. Quite a collection and I wanted to make so much more but time for the better of me as usual.

wee mindings: March 2013
http://weemindings.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
On craft and other muses. Thursday, 14 March 2013. Soft sounds of movement come from deep within. Faint rustling while a body shifts and limbs extend.
