I am sorry for the terrible editing of the last post, I was getting kicked out of my wifi spot and had to post it before I could edit it. I have added some different pictures that I missed before. I am sorry for the delay. As you can imagine, a reliable internet source is hard to come by, even in major cities. Our last night in Phuket we splurged on a nice dinner on the beach and watched the sun dip below the horizon. Bridge Over the River Why? Just a quick update on our travel plans before I play more catch-up. We have changed our plans and will unfortunately not be able to visit Laos. There has been extensive flooding during the monsoon season and with several typhoons battering northern Vietnam and Laos it has burst the banks of the Mekong River. Beach Adventures and Private Baths. Well, as you may have gathered, we couldn't get out of Georgetown fast enough. So we went out to Batu Ferrenghi. This would be our first escape from city life since we arrived in Asia. It was also our first time having an en suite bathroom on the trip, which to us equaled heaven on Earth. Today we plan on taking advantage of the sunshine by heading to the beach and heading up to the little surfer town of Dominical. Should be a full day of relaxing me and monkey watching by Melissa. I might even try my hand at surfing if the waves are good. I hope everyone had a fulFILLING holiday. Ours consited of Dirty martinis and oysters on the half-shell in the Houston airport.
