Maddox Brothers and Rose. Some of Harleys first musical influences were the Maddox Brothers. He met them while stationed at Camp Pendleton. Harley would come up from Camp Pendleton and watch legendary acts like Joan Baez, Jose Feliciano, Bob Dylan, and Hoyt Axton. Between the Golden Bear and enjoying different bands, Harley had his hands full making curfew back to the camp. This would be home until he was deployed to Vietnam. Harley's love for music could not be derailed, music has no borders.

Walk a Mile in My Shoes. Once again with the taste of success near, Harley had yet another surgery, his 12th, and once again his musical career was put on hold. Harley began to reassess and prioritize his life. On Christmas Eve 1996, Harley said good bye to any "real Job" and with the love of his life at his side, began struggling to revive his career in music. After 15 years of ups and downs, Harley released his 1st CD Harley's Angels. To his next release, Redneck, White, and Blue. Is sweeping the island.
