BRENDA'S R2-Q5: Outter Ankles

Sunday, April 3, 2011. Here is my outter Ankles, I cut all my pieces first and then started glueing. First I glued the larger flat pieces and then started on the smaller pieces, once you get it all together then you build the beefy ankle pieces. I built mine on the ankle so I could get it as acurate as possible, Which was very easy. I used my little helpers to hold the pieces in place while the glue tacked up. After that You start skinning the ankle to finish off the piece. Crissy's Blog ( my daughter ).

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Frank and Sons Star Wars Day. A1 reported for duty for the Frank and Sons Collectibles Star Wars day. This is always a great event. The 50st and the droids we mobbed by adoring fans! R2 was able to meet and patrol the area with a new Naboo Era droid, R2-A6. Dan Logan (Young Boba Fett), Amy Allen (Aayla Secura), Bonnie Piesse (Young Aunt Baru) and Matt Wood (Voice of General Grievous) were all at the show signing autographs. Posted by Army Scout. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Dome Progress and More Parts. A red and white dome. This will allow me to be a little more flexible if needed. Again, this was a great learning opportunity. This is the styrene. Dome, with front and rear PSI's. And the radar eye, lens, and logic surrounds are from Azman. I'm waiting on the JEDI display for the logics. There is also a micro controller. That is moving the front HP. I love the look of R2 in ANH. Here's my solution on how to attach JAG's. Bay Area R2 Builders.

R2-D2´s long awaited return to Hoth. Check out my Sandtrooper build! Tuesday, 31 July 2012. After waiting and hoping for two years, the RADAR EYE finally arrives! Some months ago he returned - Rise of the Shaw! Builders all over the world have been ecstatic, frantically checking David's homepage for updates and availability. I was off-world on holiday when the part was released, but thanks to Edward going out of his way to reach me via Telex and Wampa-cries I managed to get on the list!
