Dr Humpp's Curious Collection. Black Sabbath – That Face. Phantasm – The Contortionist in Lavender →. Pumpkinhead 2 – Impressive Cameos. August 13, 2015. Http:/ www.vhscollector.com. There was a write up about a set visit in Fangoria that had piqued my interest for a few reasons. One, Jeff Burr knows sequels. There was no imdb at the time, but I had seen his name enough to know that it always seemed to be attached to sequels. Chainsaw 3 was a ton of fun, so I was game. Like I was the only one…. I know th...

The Horror Section: Where's The Beef?
http://www.thehorrorsection.com/2014/11/wheres-beef.html
In addition to the usual reviews and comments you would find on a horror movie blog, this is also a document of the wonderfully vast horror movie section of the video store I worked at in my youth. Monday, November 10, 2014. I mentioned that last week at Horror-Rama. I found a rare VHS tape of an eighties shot-on-video slasher called Spine. However, much to my disappointment, the movie itself was fairly toothless. Paul Zamarelli. Pretty much sums up Spine perfectly here. In their first scene, but it wind...

Saturday, December 12, 2009. Interview with Ex VHS Cover Artist, Corey Wolfe! Thanks for taking the time to speak to the few of us that really cherish the horror artwork of the forgotten VHS format. After many years of seeing the artwork on the shelves of video stores across the country and now in our own personal VHS collections, it’s a great honor to speak to one of the artists who actually contributed to the horrific horror VHS artwork of the 1980's. How were the jobs assigned? I met my wife at Virgin...

Thursday, October 2, 2008. SI's Top 14 Most Wanted Horror VHS's. 14 Attack of the Killer Refrigerator (Donna Michele Productions). The name says it all. Strangely enough, many people, horror or not, know of this film's existence. Not because they've seen it, but because its a title they've seen somewhere that they'll never forget. Attack of the Killer Refrigerator was probably the very first VHS I had hunted down. Why? I just hate cold cuts! 13 Zombie (Wizard Video). 12 555 (Slaughterhouse Entertainment).

Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Over 1000 Cover Scans! Big thanks to everyone who have contributed their cover scans to the site! Keep it going and encourage others to do the same. The more information we have on the titles, the more complete we can make the catalogs. Also, we are also looking for contributors to the site! If you're a decent writer, you could possibly write articles, reviews, or other relevant material for the site. Thanks everyone! Labels: horror vhs collecting nostalgia.
