Kindergarten News - Room 172. Monday, April 2, 2012. Spring is finally here! It is hard to believe that we are already in the third term and grade one is just around the corner for our SK students. The children are thrilled to be riding the bikes and scooters again. They are also excited to be playing games with the hoops, balls and jump ropes. Paper and markers will keep them busy for a long time and build literacy skills. I hope you are enjoying sharing the poems and the books sent home each week.

Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Language: Both classes have completed their persuasive essays and I will be handing them back shortly. Each student will redo a section of their persuasive essay, using my feedback as a guide. This will be submitted again and I will mark this again. Once persuasive writing is completed, we will be using these persuasive pieces for debates. Geography/History: Just finishing up with Geography and moving on to History soon! 7B will have their geography test on Wednesday.

Thursday, January 27, 2011. Due to the difficulties in the December interviews, I will using a different format for this term. Please see the scheduled time for your child's class below. If you need an interview please choose a time slot. Homeroom interviews will be 15 min starting on the hour. 7A - Wed. Feb. 16/11 - 3:30-7:00 pm. 7B - Thurs. Feb. 17/11 - 3:30-8:00 pm. Friday interviews are available in the morning from 8:00-11:00. 7A and 7B History Retake Test - April 1st at 8:00am.
