Savoring The Moments: November 2012
http://shanna-savoringmoments.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 18, 2012. Well, in an effort to catch up my poor neglected blog (I always have good intentions of keeping up with this, but life is just so busy. Good, but crazy-busy! Here's some of our memories from this fall so far:. 1-QUALITY TIME WITH MY SIL AND NEPHEW. This is my #1 memory from this fall. Sadly, my brother and his family moved a good 13 hours away from us (boo! But before that happened my SIL and nephew lived with us for about a month (yay! 5-PUMPKIN PATCH FIELD TRIP. I was able to...

Savoring The Moments: July 2012
http://shanna-savoringmoments.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 15, 2012. A couple of days ago, I received this picture and text from my hubby:. But we were packing.". After giggling a bit to myself and saying a quick prayer of thanks that for once it wasn't me at home with the mess, I texted back: "Oh. My. Word.". Pretty sure that daddy didn't appreciate this specific therapy session, although I (and the rest of my family that I forwarded the text to) sure thought it was funny. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Savoring The Moments: May 2012
http://shanna-savoringmoments.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Our final day in the parks began with the highly anticipated 10:00 breakfast reservation. We were off with two pint-sized, very excited princesses in tow to eat at Ariel's Grotto and meet the princesses. We had prayed that the right princesses would be there (Snow White, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty) and we were not to be disappointed. Thank goodness! I think we would have had tears from a certain 2 year old if Beauty had not shown up. Making crowns is serious business. After our m...

Savoring The Moments: November 2011

Sunday, November 27, 2011. Saturday, November 26, 2011. An embarrassment of riches. A friend on FB (thanks Leah) said, "My life is basically an embarrassment of riches. Thankful doesn't quite fit when thinking about how blessed I am." I love these words because when I truly think about how incredibly blessed I am (and how blessed we are in this country), I am at a loss for words. I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Savoring The Moments: January 2012

Tuesday, January 24, 2012. The Yellow Hospital Gown. If it wasn't for the yellow hospital gown, the whole experience would have been smooth sailing, but thanks to the gown our time at the out patient surgery center did not end well. All and all the day went really smoothly, but if you ever take your child to get tubes in their ears and they hand him or her a yellow hospital gown. Beware. It may be more important than you think. Savoring The Moments: June 2012
http://shanna-savoringmoments.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 17, 2012. M participated in a Challenger soccer camp the last week of May. We debated about putting her in the 4-5 year old class, but after reading the description we thought she might get bored (and you don't want her bored) so we decided to challenge her a bit and put her in the 5-6 year old class. I'm so very glad that we did! She was definitely the youngest, but it was good for her to try to keep up with the older kids. The camp was amazing! What do I know! It began with the coaches on ...

Saturday, May 21, 2011. To My Aunt Lyndsey. Dear Aunt Lyndsey,. I really really LOVE my new finger nail polishes and nail art book. Mama did her best to paint my nails like lady bugs. How do you think she did? I think that she didn't do too bad for her first try. She said that she thinks you will be a great nail artist and that when we move I should ask you to do my nails when you come over. I'm trying to decide what to have you draw on my nails. The butterflies are awfully cute! Love you lots,. But God ...

Savoring The Moments: September 2011
http://shanna-savoringmoments.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 30, 2011. After waiting for 8 1/2 months. We were finally able to meet this little guy. I wish he lived closer. At least we got to see him (and his mama) for a few weeks. I can't wait to see him for his very first Christmas! Here is a peek at our visit with cousin S:. Trying to get three children to both smile AND look at the camera. AT THE SAME TIME. Is impossible, but we tried. My girls LOVE their Aunt Katie. I'm not sure that she loves him much. What do you think? Cousins are the bes...

Savoring The Moments: My Mountains
http://shanna-savoringmoments.blogspot.com/2012/08/my-mountains.html
Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Around last Christmas I realized that I, an almost Colorado native (it's not my fault my dad was in seminary and I lived my first 6 months in Texas :) , had not been up in the mountains since my brother's wedding. That wedding was FIVE years ago! M was only 4 months old, which also meant that my poor children had basically never been up in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains either. Completely unacceptable! At the top of Berthoud Pass.a first for the girls! M was very concern...

Monday, July 4, 2011. So yesterday we had. Today Aaron worked his last noon shift as a resident. G had just swatted Aaron in the nose with the card right before that second pic. And she thought it was hilarious. She snickered. Hehe! We were playing the princess version.is there any other? I tried to explain that she shouldn't show me or tell me, but she pretty much just couldn't help it. I love her! And for those who might care.we each won 2 games. Hope every one had a great 4th of July! She was adamant ...
