August 16, 2015. I have 9 summer squashes in my refrigerator (picked 5 today). My challenge is to use them in recipes that my husband will actually eat. Tonight, I found a recipe for zucchini fries that sounded appetizing. Besides substituting summer squash for zucchini, I used salt, pepper and Mrs Dash for seasoning.
