Plein air painting went great, by the time 2 pm came around it was all dry and not too hot to be outside either! I had time to take a look at some of the art in the festival before I started painting, that really got me excited and inspired to paint! Join me next time: http:/ atlantapainters.org/. Kim Bennett's Studio: March 2009
http://kimartuk.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, 2 March 2009. Just Another Quick Study. OK this is an unfinished study but thought I would show this to you before adding the final touches. During the time, I was more concerned with the skin around the eye area but planning to adjust the eye when the final section is added. It was an interesting technique and hopefully I will have the chance to work with it again. Is 4 X 4 inches ( 10.16 x 10.16cm ). Acrylic on Watercolour paper. Posted by Kim Bennett. Labels: Paintings by Kim. Hope in Every Day.
