A "soul boat" from a coming-of-age ritual practiced in Indonesia. Masks are everywhere in the Quai Branly. This shield is from Papua New Guinea but looks like Beowulf could have carried it. Here's my little collection of travel apps and Paris-specific apps (all iPhone because that's what I have! Paris's public transit system app: RATP for iPhone. Weather in Paris: Météo Paris. Maps and directions: Pocket Earth. 299 but there is a "Lite" version that's free). Two choices for texting via wifi: WhatsApp. Another good transit app: ViaNavigo.
