Sunday, January 22, 2012. An Outing on the Southern Ocean. Everyone was excitedly waiting at the stern of the ship for their turn to get onto the water. Before we were able to get out on the ocean we had to wait while the crew first went out and checked the suitability of the conditions. We watched patiently while other groups went out. Two little blessings in my life are my grandchildren, Darcey and Eric. It seems hard to imagine my life without them now. I have a feeling that Eric wasn't too impressed about me taking his photo but while he was asleep I took this one. I love watching him sleep as he looks so peaceful. His little hands are so tiny.
