Tuesday, February 10, 2015. I Must Be Nuts! So, I've been doing a lot of egg shell mozaic-ing lately and having a lot of fun with it. Ginormous Duck: Haunted by Margaret Thatcher?
http://ginormousduck.blogspot.com/2015/05/haunted-by-margaret-thatcher.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Haunted by Margaret Thatcher? I now know entirely more about Margaret Thatcher than I ever thought I would. Is she visiting me in dreams? Is she haunting me? Am I attending a graduate course at the local college on the highlights and lowlights of her life and rule? It's time to do a school project. Not me, but Sweet Pea. And being the wonderful mother that I am, I am assisting. And I have to say, I'm really sick of reading about her. That's all. Posted by Ginormous Duck.

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. My family is awesome. The other day we were all sitting around the kitchen table eating dinner. The radio was on and Nightmare, by Avenged. At exactly the same time, about 30 seconds into the song when the guitars and drums start, everyone at the table started headbanging in unison. It was classic! It's nice that we all share similar tastes in music! Posted by Ginormous Duck. Links to this post. Thursday, December 25, 2014. You Can Never Have Too Many Shoes. Links to this post.

Tina Gilmore: Celebrating Joseph Cornell
http://tinagilmore.blogspot.com/p/joseph-cornell.html
Joseph Cornell (1903–1972). American artist Joseph Cornell (1903–1972) has been celebrated internationally for his boxes, collages, and films since the 1930s. His mining of far-flung ideas and traditions and elegant integration of woodworking, painting, papering, and drawing define the innovation and visual poetry associated with his work. Above all, he forever altered the concept of the box—from a time-honored functional container into a new art form, the box construction. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
