Monday, 15 June 2015. What I Learnt By Taking A Pump Break. In bullet point fashion, of course:. Injections are hard work! Can't just press some buttons on my meter and away I go. No, I actually have to stop and take the time out to make sure I get insulin into my system. Monday, 27 April 2015. It was just as I was leaving work that I decided to check my blood sugar. Multi-tasking, as I do, I put a test strip in my meter, locked my desk drawer, pricked my finger and put blood on the test strip, put my coat on, picked up my bag, then "beep, beep". The double beep. The one that means my blood sugar is either high or low. I look at my meter and my heart rate sped up. High Very high. But I didn't feel like my blood sugar should be that high. That's where I'm at this evening.

Wednesday, 4 January 2017. You were an interesting one, weren't you? There were laughs, lots of fun had, engagements, too much wine, too much gin and visits to places I used to live. There was travelling - Capri, Rome, Cannes, how you stole my heart! There were work opportunities, and the Queen came for lunch.
