Well we had an excellently productive morning on monday, we made like still shots of a scene we had prep’d on friday was fun, although i feel ever so slightly like i had organized my group allot i no if it was a good thing or not i hope i didn’t put anyone out o joint! Having said that i really enjoyed taking the 1st ad/director roll on our mini set! And i dont think i did to badly, and i really fucking enjoyed it ALLOT! Smile ur on candy cam.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Organization and management observations. Has the academy forgotten about the small things that need organized to give the client the full learning experience? Ros’s classes are over, one day I found myself sweeping the chandler floor 10 minutes before a special guest speaker. Who should do these jobs within the academy? I choose to do DFTV as my elective and today was day 1. By Friday afternoon Out of 11 people not one of us new ware when or what we would be doing.

DFTV wasnt working out for me i felt that there was a huge lack of preparation for production students and it was really sad for me as i was soo looking forward to it. Although we were disapointed with DFTV it does not reflect on any of the staff it is an entirely new thing for them and i think it just need to break in slowly maybe starting with the art direction team is the way forward one department at a time…who knows…. I hadn’t been specific in my brief over the actual content of the presentations, except that the information had to come from their own ePortfolio work from the beginning of term to the day of the presentation.
