I was asked by Seridom to participate in the first "Edita Project" of this year. Each year, Seridom contacts three professionals from the visual industry to develop a project for the company, using their skills to approach it in a different way. This is my collaboration for the third issue of Guts Zine, called Safari. I tried not to stick to the literal meaning of "safari", and created this animal bookcase divided in four zones. There are 16 compartments full of books, and each one has a book with just one letter in the spine. If you read the whole message sticking all 16 letters, it reads "number pi is the key! I made this set of two illustrations for Christmas 2014. They are connected between them: in the orphanage, there is a child using a telescope in the window, who sees that there is a tree with a Christmas ball missing. He goes out to put that ball where it belongs. Filed under victor medina.
