Friday, February 19, 2010. A Long Overdue Update! I can't believe we are almost through the first two months of 2010! So much has happened since my last posting, there's no way I'll be able to write all that has taken place. But I will say our year started off with a bang! Here is another shot of the sleeping angel. For many years Fish Hoek was a 'dry' town and it was illegal to sell alcohol within the town limits. Then about 12 years ago Anton de Voogd bought a historic building just below the traffic circle and turned it into The Victorian Times- or The Vic as the locals refer to it. And locals are what The Vic is all about. Being one of the few bars in Fish Hoek, you’re bound to find locals here whatever the day, time or weather!
