Thankfully all my photos got back okay, but as I edited all my photos for this blog I saved them direct to memory stick - BAD IDEA! Victoria Sims Travel Blog. Sunday, 1 March 2009. I have visited Barcelona once before a few years ago and loved it and so I was very excited to be going back. Leaving from a grey and miserable London I arrived in sunny Spain which was such a great bonus, the sunshine just seems to make everywhere seem so much better. Some images of the beautiful blue sky from the plane. One of the last photos I took in Barcelona on the roof of my hotel, the rooftops seem to have lives of their own away from the street.
